RLB Architectura was founded in 1979 in Ketchum and soon evolved into an award
winning architectural design firm recognized for unique traditional and contemporary mountain
style designs. With the current leadership team including partners Buffalo Rixon, Michael Bulls,
Scott Heiner, and Matt Walker, the firm has grown into a multi-disciplined architectural,
planning and structural engineering design studio to meet the diverse and complex needs of our
clients.
For over four decades our projects have varied in complexity, scope, and size providing the firm with a wide range of experience including luxury custom and multi-family residential, mixed-use developments, ski and mountain resort hospitality, commercial, and public works projects. This experience has included projects throughout the country, primarily focused on the western region. These opportunities have provided the firm with skill development in strategic planning, programming, site analysis, fundraising, entitlements, sustainable design, structural engineering, project implementation, and project management.
